Two souls spend their lives orbiting one another, trying desperately to break down the other's notions of love, the soul, and the body - only to learn that heartbreak is most often out of your control, and that growth can only come from collision and explosion.
The BASiC Theatre Project takes on Tennessee Williams' 1948 American classic in a way only BASiC can by narrowing in on the millennial perspective of 'the soul mate', and putting Williams' text in conversation with the all three time periods inherent to the play--the turn-of-the-century American South that the story is set amongst, Williams' post-war Manhattan, and NYC today, creating an examination of the universality and timelessness of heartbreak, and how we move on.
